Dublin

The capital of the Republic of Ireland provides a fantastic city break with plenty to do and see for people of all holiday tastes. The Guiness Store Factory tour is perhaps one of the most famous things to do in the city as you dive into the production and get to sample the iconic stout beer. Architectural beauties in the city include St. Patrick’s Cathedral and The Spire of Dublin. If you are heading out for a few drinks, we cannot recommend the historic and iconic Temple Bar enough.
 

Amsterdam

Holland’s capital is a bustling, vibrant modern city with lots to do and see for a perfect weekend city break getaway. It has one of the trendiest eating and drinking scenes in the whole of Europe with great bars, quirky restaurants and of course, the city’s famous “coffee shops”. There is plenty more to do in Amsterdam than just to consume though. Anne Frank’s House, the Van Gogh Museum and a relaxing canal boat tour are all highly regarded cultural recommendations.
 

Lille (via Dunkirk)

The exciting and modern French city of Lille is the ideal ferry city break destination and has plenty to cater to young and old. It is one of the most picturesque cities in the whole of France with its baroque-style buildings and incredible architectural designs. Old Lille is the historic district that you want to spend plenty of time in. Palais des Beaux-Arts is a phenomenal museum to look at in the city and is behind only the Louvre for size. Lille is around an hour’s drive from the ferry port of Dunkirk.
 

Brussels (via Zeebrugge)

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and is packed full of history with fascinating things to do and see around every street corner. The Grand Palace is one of the most striking and beautiful buildings in the entire city. It is well worth visiting at different times during the day. There are plenty of museums to check out in this charming city including The Costume Museum and Musee Royaux Des Beaux Arts. An afternoon stroll and picnic next to the Parc Du Cinquantenaire is always highly recommended by us. Brussels is located around an hour and a half drive from Zeebrugge ferry port.
 

Belfast

The capital of Northern Ireland is a fantastic weekend away with friends, with the family or with your special someone. It has more than enough for everyone to enjoy and is packed full of exciting places to visit. One of those is Titanic Belfast. This massive museum shaped like the famous ship tells the history of the Titanic, from its building and birth in Belfast to the story of its infamous end. During the summer, the Botanic Gardens are a wonderful place to visit, with plenty of picnic spots dotted around. There is plenty of history to discover in and around the city and the nightlife is fantastic too.
 

The Hague (via Rotterdam)

The Hague, also known as Den Haag, is the third largest city in the Netherlands and is home to some of the country’s best museums, parks and architecture. It is a great place to target for a very cultured European city break and close to Rotterdam ferry port. The Mauritshuis Museum is one of the most famous alongside the Mesdag Museum. Madurodam Model City is an extremely unique attraction that we recommend you bump to the top of your list. It features a huge scale model representation of some of the Netherland's most famous cities. It is a walk-through experience with all buildings, trees and vehicles created at a 1:25 scale with incredible detail.
